The 7 Best Coffee Shops in Las Vegas

Posted on August 2, 2022December 12, 2025 by Will Roby
[ Summary ]

In this guide, I share my seven favorite coffee shops in Las Vegas—an eclectic mix of spots I’ve tried across the city. Each one makes great coffee and brings something special to the table, from unique brews to memorable bites, helping you escape overpriced casino lattes and find the real gems.

Here’s my list of the 7 best coffee shops in Las Vegas:

  1. Aware Coffee & Tea Lounge
  2. Bungalow Coffee Company
  3. Hazel Coffee & Cocktails
  4. PublicUs
  5. Sambalatte Torrefazione
  6. Tru Bru Organic Coffee
  7. Vesta Coffee Roasters

The rest of this post is dedicated to reviewing and sharing information about my favorite places to buy coffee in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas and its 220,000+ hospitality employees run on caffeine. By far the preferred method of caffeine intake is coffee. There’s one coffee shop for every 2,700 people in Las Vegas, a ratio high enough to make it a top-15 coffee drinking destination.

When you’re not putting to use the best sportsbook promo codes for USA players and more online or playing poker on the internet, you might enjoy getting some coffee in Vegas. In fact, you’ll probably be hitting the traditional brick and mortar sportsbooks in Vegas while you’re there, but that’s not where you’ll find the best coffee.

It’s true that coffee in a Vegas casino is a a rip-off. I paid about $15 for a medium-sized latte the last time I gambled on the Vegas Strip.

But casinos are far from the only place to get your coffee fix in Sin City.

The 7 Best Las Vegas Coffee Shops

To make my list of the best coffee shops in Vegas appealing to as many people as possible, I’ve put together an eclectic mix.

Each of the names on this list makes great coffee. But they each also do something else that’s special.

Along with briefly reviewing each spot, I’ll talk about the best things to try there.

I’ve listed the 7 best Vegas coffee shops alphabetically, since I love them all in equal measure.

1 – Aware Coffee & Tea Lounge

Best Drink: The Apothecary
Best Food: mochi donuts

I found this gem tucked away near the Trader Joe’s in Centennial Hills. I found it almost by accident, sneaking out of my hotel room to get some Crumbl cookies for my wife. Aware is right next door.

I like a coffee shop that knows what it does well. Aware Coffee & Tea Lounge is that kind of place. When I asked the barista what I should get as a first-time customer, she straight-away said, “The Apothecary.” She said it’s one of their signature drinks and there’s nothing out there that tastes like it.

The Apothecary is a kind of cardamom and rose latte with an herbal spice and warmth that calls both chai and gentle campfire smoke to mind. She was right; I’ve never had anything quite like it.

The mochi donuts did, as advertised, capture my heart. If you’ve never had one, it’s like a lightly-sweet and gently-fried donut covered in various wild and amazing flavors. On the menu on the day of my visit – strawberry rose (a great compliment to my latte) and funnel cake.

Chewy, delicately-flavored, and Instagram-worthy, they were a great quick snack on a day I really needed it.

Aware is small but vibrant. They host live music frequently. I’m told at peak coffee times you should expect a line. It moves fast, but it can get pretty long. This part of LV is bereft of truly great coffee.

And, yes, the Crumbl cookies made it back to my wife. All but one of them, anyway.

This was an easy pick for my list of the best coffee shops in Las Vegas.

2 – Bungalow Coffee Company

Best Drink: pour-over coffee
Best Food: waffle sandwich

Arts District coffee shops have a lot of competition. Let me introduce you to one of the best.

Bungalow Coffee Company bills itself as “a group of mega-friendly coffee lovers,” and I found that to be true on my first visit. I asked about the music playing (“Abigal Anne” by Jeremy Enigk) and had a whole conversation before I even placed my order.

The barista suggested I try a pour-over coffee by the in-house roaster Onyx Coffee Lab. They had a featured single-origin coffee from Ethiopia that I’d never heard of – Nano Genji.

My 12 oz. pour-over cup was a revelation. I’m a big fan of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, but Nano Genji was a totally different beast. Notes of brown sugar and jasmine on the inhale are matched with an almost overwhelming burnt sugar and ripe peach flavor profile.

The pour-over method allowed the barista to brew it just right, which in this case meant a slower, lower-temp situation to preserve the tea-like mouthfeel.

One of the best single cups of coffee I’d ever had – tucked in behind the Berlin bar right off the freeway.

I paired my delicate but heady coffee with a waffle sandwich. This is a local favorite – two waffles, swiss cheese, sausage, eggs, and a lot of maple syrup.

If you like breakfast sandwiches and bright unique coffees like I do, Bungalow is a godsend.

3 – Hazel Coffee & Cocktails

Best Drink: any espresso-based coffee
Best Food: parfaits

I chose Hazel as a standout coffee shop inside a Vegas casino.

Most of these places are trash, but Hazel Coffee & Cocktails is not.

It’s located inside Mandalay Bay. It’s open from 6 AM to 2 AM. In the morning, it’s a totally serviceable coffee shop with some great food and coffee drinks. Charmingly, it turns into a lounge at 3 PM every day, featuring unique cocktails and live music.

4- PublicUs

Best Drink: flash-brew iced coffee
Best Food: corned beef hash

If you’ve never had flash-brewed iced coffee, it’s very similar to traditional Japanese-style iced coffee, but with a smaller volume of water. The result is an iced coffee with a strong flavor and aroma profile, if maybe a little less volume.

You wouldn’t necessarily take your grandmother in to PublicUs for a cup of joe, but it’s a great date spot. Trendy without being cloying, the menu offers a lot of variety at prices way less than a typical Vegas tourist trap.

PublicUs is the best at flash-brewed coffee in the entire city of Las Vegas. They have one size and one simple price – $4 out the door. It’s consistently creamy but satisfyingly-acidic. It basically tastes like a perfect cup of hot-brewed coffee but cold, the way iced coffee should be.

I ordered the corned beef hash on the advice of my waiter and because it seemed like such a funny old-school thing to eat for breakfast. I was surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. The spicy coconut sriracha sauce is probably what did it. I’m a sucker for spice early in the morning.

5 – Sambalatte Torrefazione

Best Drink: vacuum pot single-origin coffee
Best Food: muffins

Gourmet coffee drinkers in Las Vegas, meet your Mecca.

If you take coffee seriously and want a true gourmet coffee experience, get yourself to the Boca Park location of local chain Sambalatte.

Sambalatte Torrefazione specializes in single-origin coffees prepared meticulously to preserve their unique qualities.

It’s a playground for coffee nerds, with a gentle but calm setting that practically demands you become a regular.

I chose their Brazilian blend called Samba Nova. It’s a high-elevation Brazilian coffee that perfectly displays that county’s unique mix of high and low notes, with a long finish equal to any gourmet coffee bean.

The vacuum pot method preferred at Sambalatte produces a perfect balance, taking the edge off a coffee’s acidity without sacrificing body. The mouthfeel is like no other coffee prep process. You just have to experience it.

While food isn’t the big draw at Sambalatte, I quite liked the lemon poppy seed muffin paired with my Brazilian coffee.

6 – Tru Bru Organic Coffee

Best Drink: Aeropress coffee
Best Food: house specialty scones

Stellar coffees and a big food menu in a part of the city that doesn’t necessarily prize gourmet coffee. That’s a win.

Tru Bru Organic Coffee is probably my favorite coffee shop in the southern Las Vegas area. Like the best coffee shops in the city, they roast in-house, which produces the freshest-possible coffee, regardless of which drink you order.

The barista suggested I try their Aeropress coffee. The Aeropress is a commercial device that forces water through coffee grounds, something like a French press and somewhat like an espresso machine.

The result is supposed to be a balanced cup with a unique mouthfeel and more noticeable aromas and flavor notes.

My cup – a dark roast Peaberry coffee blend from Africa – was as advertised, though I didn’t necessarily notice a big difference in the mouthfeel.

My wife said I had to mention the matcha tea imported from Japan. She said it’s the best matcha she’s ever had outside of Southeast Asia. I didn’t try it, but it certainly smelled strong and looked thick and delicious.

7 – Vesta Coffee Roasters

Best Drink: nitro coffee
Best Food: Hawaiian Benedict Sandwich

Vesta is in the heart of Las Vegas, just across the highway from another pick on this list, Bungalow Coffee Company.

The two coffee shops are about as alike as head to head poker and penny slot machines.

Vesta Coffee Roasters has fully embraced just about every coffee trend of the past few years. The barista suggested a nitro coffee.

I chose a dark roast Oaxacan coffee from the Monte Alban estate. Pricey but worth every penny. Nitro coffee is lovely on the tongue, imparting a long finish and an overall creaminess that is all-around pleasant to lovers of coffee.

The Hawaiian Benedict Sandwich was delightfully greasy and filling – spiked with spam and cheddar with a spicy sriracha hollandaise. It’s a great backbone for such a powerful dark roast coffee drink.

Conclusion: The Best Coffee Shops in Las Vegas

That’s my list of the 7 best coffee shops in Las Vegas.

I’ve done a lot of research and spent a lot of time hunting down great coffee in Las Vegas. If you have something to add to my body of knowledge, by all means leave a comment.

I’m always looking to learn more about coffee and about my favorite gambling destination.
