Here are my top 3 picks:Zwilling Sorrento Plus Double-Wall Coffee MugHIHELO Double Glass Espresso Tasting CupAquach Glass MugThe market for glass coffee mugs is huge. I found 7 pages of search results on Amazon when I searched for “glass coffee mugs.” That’s a totally unreasonable amount of choice.Let me help you out. Buy one of the mugs on this list and I promise you’ll be satisfied with your morning cup.And hey, while you’re at it, check out my post on how to clean a coffee maker. If you’re getting a new glass mug, you might as well have a like-new coffee pot ready to go.1 – Best Overall Glass Coffee Mug – Zwilling Sorrento Plus Double-Wall Coffee MugFor my money, this is the ideal glass coffee mug for most people. It has everything a good glass mug should have – the ability to keep your drinks at temp for longer, clean and beautiful aesthetics – and the backing of a big name in the glassware industry. This is kind of a fancy glass coffee mug, but still very functional. All Zwilling mugs are hand-blown. The double wall design is both microwave and freezer safe. You can toss them in the dishwasher, but I’d probably just hand wash them if I were you. You’ll love the feel of the high-quality borosilicate glass. Enjoy your next morning coffee drink in a Zwilling Sorrento Plus double-wall coffee mug and you’ll notice that it stays hotter longer than you’re used to.2 – Best Large Glass Coffee Mug – Aquach Glass MugIf you like a taller cup of coffee than usual, check out this glass mug from Aquach. It has a 20-ounce capacity, perfect for a 16oz coffee with whatever add-ins you like. Some large glass mugs are too tall to fit into Keurig and Nespresso machines. That’s not a problem here. I use an Aquach from time to time, and it fits in all my devices with no issue. My wife uses one almost every day. She likes the thicker glass of the mug and the super-thick handle. I’ve used it in the microwave with no problem. And even though I usually wash glass mugs by hand, I’ve even popped my Aquach mugs in the dishwasher with no problem.3 – Best Large Handle Glass Coffee Mug – Bivvclaz Double Wall Glass Coffee MugBivvclaz’ glass mug has the biggest handle I’ve ever seen outside of a beer stein. I don’t always like a huge handle on a glass mug, but when you need a better grip (like walking around the yard or whatever), a big handle is really helpful.Okay, so – how big is the handle on the Bivvclaz Double Wall Glass Coffee mug? I’m a big dude – 6’5” and 230 pounds – and I can fit four fingers through the handle at a time. That gives me a pretty serious grip on my mug no matter what I’m doing.I like Bivvclaz’ glass mug for other reasons, too. It holds up to 16 oz. The borosilicate glass is totally microwave and dishwasher safe. And, best of all, they look cool and they’re stackable for the kitchen cabinet.4 – Best Thick Glass Coffee Mug – MEWAY Coffee MugMEWAY’s standard coffee mug is a double-wall glass insulated piece of art. It has an extra-wide handle, extra-thick borosilicate glass for insulation and sturdiness, and it looks great with a big steaming cup of coffee and milk inside of it.I love when a glass coffee mug feels both sturdy and lightweight. That’s what MEWAY’s coffee mug is like. It feels solid in your hand, but your arm doesn’t get tired after a couple of cups.5 – Best Glass Coffee Mug for Cappuccinos – ComSaf Cappuccino CupA great cappuccino mug should be sturdy but relatively small. It should have a generally outward shape at the top, to encourage the blending of flavors below and allow you access to a larger amount of froth on the surface. Also, I think it should look cool.ComSaf’s Cappuccino Cup hits all those notes. It has that perfect slightly blooming shape that promotes froth development and enjoyment. It looks great. Also – you don’t have to just use it for cappuccinos. It’s a great espresso cup or a perfect glass mug for any small coffee pull.6 – Best Glass Coffee Mug for Espresso – Wells Irish Double Walled Glass Coffee MugWells Irish Double Walled Glass Coffee Mug is my favorite demitasse cup to use for drinking espresso. Really, I only use these cups when I’m drinking straight espresso shots with sugar or lemon or whatever. They have a really specific use in my house, but I love having them when I need them.Wells Glass is super famous. Their glass products are beautiful and functional. I haven’t broken any of my Wells espresso mugs yet, and I’m kind of known for breaking glass things. They’re also really easy to clean. If you’re getting into serious coffee, you need some serious mugs for drinking and tasting espresso. Wells Irish Coffee Mug is just that.7 – Best Glass Coffee Mugs for Everyday Use – Nespresso Glass Espresso Cup & SaucerThis is literally my everyday mug.In fact, as I started working on this post, I was finishing up a Nespresso Puerto Rican Cafecito with plenty of raw sugar and frothed milk. Lately, that’s my ideal morning drink. And Nespresso’s glass mugs are my ideal way to drink it. I actually got two of these glasses as a gift from Nespresso because I made like a $200 pod order a few months ago. Here’s why I like them – they are sturdy, beautiful, and incredibly easy to clean. That’s really all there is to it. I’ve dropped one a few feet off of a low counter and it didn’t even crack. I’m not saying you should go play baseball with it or anything, but it’s way sturdier than most glass mugs.Check out my post on the best Nespresso pods for 8 great coffees to drink out of your new Nespresso glass coffee mug.8 – Best Tiny Glass Coffee Mugs – Sweese Espresso CupSweese Espresso Cups hold 4 ounces – that’s it and that’s all. They don’t have handles – the double-wall glass keeps your fingers from burning.Drinking out of a Sweese Espresso Cup is a more intimate experiencing than drinking out of a mug with a handle. You have to bring the mug to your face. You inhale more aromas and taste deeper flavors just from having to put your whole face into the steam.Coffee junkies should really invest in a few of these. They’re not expensive – I found them on Amazon right now for under $25 for a set of 4. They’re as easy to clean and store as any other glass mug, just a little smaller and with a design that’ll force you to really experience your coffee.9 – Best Glass Coffee Mug with a Spout – Evaryl Pouring Espresso CupsIt’s a stretch to call this a mug, but I really want people to know about them. Evaryl’s Pouring Espresso Cups are typical double glass wall espresso shot glasses but with a pouring lid. This lets you pour your espresso shot without losing a drop or making any mess.If you’re like me, you like to add your shots to your milk or whatever other beverage. The pouring lip of Evaryl’s Pouring Espresso Cups makes that process even easier.10 – Best Glass Coffee Mug to Splurge On – HIHELO Double Glass Espresso Tasting CupThis one’s for the true coffee-heads out there looking for an ideal coffee tasting experience. I found a set of two on Amazon for about $120.What do you get for the money? HIHELO’s double glass espresso tasting cup has a smooth pressed surface that makes it easy to clean and improves the flavor when sipping. The shape of the cup is designed to improve your experience of a coffee’s subtle aromas and flavors.I like the unique double wall design that puts even more space between your hands and the drink. This also serves to insulate the coffee, keeping it warmer even longer than a traditional glass coffee mug.If you’re really into coffee, you’ll like how the shape of the HIHELO espresso tasting cup concentrates flavors and aromas towards your mouth and nose as you drink.ConclusionI like to use a glass coffee mug most of the time. You can watch the coffee as its brewing and check the concentration of milk and stuff, and I like the way the glass mug feels in my hand.Glass mugs help keep my coffee warm for longer than other types of mugs, and I also like how easy to clean they are.Check out one of the ten glass coffee mugs listed in this post, and you’ll see what I mean. Drinking hot coffee out of a glass mug is just way better than drinking out of porcelain or metal.
